I dropped my LG banter into water?

so i know to much info , but i was going to use the toilet, and i put my phone in the back pocket since i was wearing jeggings and most jeggings dont have front pockets(in that case, mine didnt) anyways so right when i was pulling down my pants i heard a plop (it wasnt poo) and i checked an my phone fell all the way to the bottum. so i picked it up, i looked at it for around 3 seconds in shock, then i very quickly use the toilet . so it was in the water for around 2 or 3 seconds, i looked at it for 2 or 3 seconds, then i put it down for 3 or 4 seconds, then it was still working , like everthing, so i thought it was no big deal, my friend even called me and everything was fine. so i just dryed it and carried on withh my night. but it turned off after around 4 minutes of talking to my friend. i legit took apart the whole thing and dried it, but no use. the screen is navy ish colour, and when i tried calling my phone(from the house phone) it started to ring, but it wouldnt pick up. so now im too scared to tell me mom cause she will beat me, and tell the whole family, and insult me and stuff(she does when i dont put the t.v box in the "right" order, so yea, im scared to tell her?? im getting a new phone for christmas, my dad promised, but what should i do???
