Is this normal C-Section recovery, or something of concern?

None of this is good enough. I've had two c-sections, first one was ok recovey, but the second I had adhesions (where they have stitched the muscles with the 'hole' in tummy), and this caused the sharp shooting pain in one side, similar to what you are saying. They also left some placenta in the uterus which was causing continued bleeding and pain. I'm not a doctor, and I can't be sure what problem you have, but I can say for sure that this is not normal, and not good enough. Go and see a different doctor to get fixed, and then speak to a lawyer to sue for negligence, because that is what this is. Good luck and godspeed.
