Will my parakeets survive the wild?

I live in a hotter climate near california and my 3 or 4 parakeets escaped outside! Hawks and pigeons are very populated here and im worried. Im unsure if they split up or are together and what will they eat? They flew away about an hour ago and its pitch black out. What are there chances of surviveing?
